Bio

I am an Ecuadorian professional with a background in pedagogy and psychology, deeply passionate about teaching my native language and sharing my culture and identity. My international travel throughout Hispanic America, volunteer work, and professional experience have shaped a global perspective that drives my commitment to transformative language education. I firmly believe that education is a powerful catalyst for opening doors, creating opportunities, and fostering both personal and societal growth.

Why did you choose the DE in Writing, Rhetoric, and Composition Studies?

I believe writing is a powerful tool for building linguistic confidence, affirming identity, and empowering individuals through language. I want to design and implement projects that explore how writing can strengthen linguistic identity, particularly for heritage and Indigenous students.
