Why did you choose the DE in Writing, Rhetoric, and Composition Studies?

The DE in WRACS is a great complement to the Education PhD, as I can pursue my research interests as a budding writing studies scholar while also receiving substantive training in qualitative and quantitative research methods.

Other Projects

I am also working on a scholarly blog: Postpostmodern Compositionist. I write informally and essayistically about the history of composition studies and how past scholarly texts might inform contemporary writing praxis.
